This unique and innovative Bullying Prevention Information Session has the primary goal of raising awareness among parents and teachers about one of the most complex and common problems facing today's children and their schools.

Failure by parents and teachers to recognize the seriousness of bullying among children can inadvertently contribute to the escalation of bullying into more lethal acts of school violence.

We must consider that the effects of bullying can cause serious psychological trauma, both at the time of the incidents and throughout our children's lives. As adults, we must educate ourselves on the dynamics of bullying, thereby moving away from the dismissal of bullying as a normal part of childhood peer relations, and progressing towards a heightened sense of awareness about our children's and/or students' fears and feelings.

We offer both parent and teacher Information Sessions which explore the causes and effects of bullying on the victim, as well as on the bully and bystanders. While the parent Information Session ultimately offers suggestions on how to counter a bullying mentality in your home and your child, the teacher Information Session attempts to offer similar suggestions in relation to the classroom and wider school environment.

The "Battling the Bullies" Information Session is given by Allan Shulman, the founder of KidzSafe, and is delivered as a dynamic and fully interactive presentation which educates but also involves the audience with the help of strong visuals, and relevent facts.
